To measure an outswing door simply measure the door itself (Width and Height) from the inside of the door. Or inside frame to inside frame, to get as close to the rough opening size as possible. You may get something like 31-3/4" W (this would be a 32" door) (If the door is missing measure the inside of the existing frame). Sizes that are listed on the charts are the rough opening. Then you should be able to locate your door size on the door chart.
