Glasscoat is an inorganic woven fiberglass mesh, coated on side with pressure sensitive adhesive. This strong, light weight, and fire resistant fabric is individually labeled and shrink wrappped. Glasscoat reinforces adhesives, coatings, mastics, and sealants used in the fabrication and installation of air ducts and thermal insulation. Glasscoat is also known by several generic descriptions like: fiberglass scrim, fiberglass tape, and fiberglass cloth. Weave: 10 x 10. Thickness: 7-8 mil. Dry wt: 1.60 -2.00 oz. Color: white. Meets specifications: ASTM D-1668-80 Type III. |
